With most number plates they are held on by 2 screws (fixings)whatever you ever you want to call them.

But when there are no screws how are they attached is it that double sided sticky tape ?

If so it easy to remove the old plate and put on a new one ?

Yep you are quite right, just tape. I was alarmed when all I saw was 4 strips of tape when my plates were changed. But touch wood the new ones have been on for 18mths and still feel secure.

Just recieved my new plates. Whats the best and easiest way to remove the adhesive left on the car once i have removed the old plates before i stick on the new? Any ideas?
