G'day members, as this is my first post ill try not to bore you all. Im from Australia and my name is Greg. I race a datsun on dirt ovals here in Australia, and am very interested in Motorsport, all forms.

Anyway enough about me.

I am after tyres called Dunlop formula r's.

Although, there are a few conditions in my racing class

They are as follows:

The tire must be in a 13 inch

It must not be wider than a 185

And it must be "Street Legal"
__________________________________________________

In Australia, on a National basis, all i can find is a 185/60 R13

These are a 67" roll around and I need 73" roll around (tyre circumfrance)

Formula R's are easy to get, but not the tread pattern I want.

Using Ebay UK i found an add with the tread i am after, i am unsure of there part number or ratings but i do know they come in 13", 73" and are street legal. This is only because of another racer over here is using them, he has removed the ratings with a grinder so no other competitor can find these.
They are definitly 13" and he Purchased them and imported them from The UK.

They perform extremly well on a slick track and no one can compete with them with radials.

Below is the Ebay link:

Please if anyone knows this tread or anyone whom uses these in a 13 inch, anyone or anything about them, please contact me on this site! Thankyou. Greg

Would Formula Rs be the various tyres they have under the trackday section?

72" circumference is 1854mm, which is 590mm diameter

Dunlop D83J in size 185/70R13 are 592mm, same tread pattern as your link.

If this is allowed what is stopping you from using slightly less than road legal tyres and removing all of the markings so nobody finds out scratchchin

These look like my D84Js. They have "For competition use only" stamped on the side although these are UK sold tyre so you may have different rules there.

EDLT - I am not a cheat haha, therefore i wont go to the measures that others do to push the boundaries. He will get caught and banned from the sport for 6 months also with a hefty fine!

Thanks to all of you for your help!
