Just cos it's quiet on PH doesn't mean it's quiet elsewhere!!

There's been a lot of support for the final one and looks to be a large turnout (as long a the weather holds out!)

I'll be there in my little Ginetta G15S!

The weather gods were with us for a change! They promised us rain and it waited till 11:50 till I saw the first spot on my windscreen!
An excellent turnout for the last event, and the feedback for everyone who came over to chat made the last 5 years worth while!
never say never, this event will return!

I do plan to restart them in xmas 2012!

It would be earlier, but I just need a break after 17 years of running shows, meets, clubs events and coming back fresh next year will be for the better good!

Who knows, I might even get one organised for the end of summer next year!

Unfortunately not; last year was the last as due to a number of reasons the fella who organised them had to stop.

I wish I had the time to grasp the nettle to organise a similar type of meet!

Does it need to be a fully organised meet if the venue/time is sorted properly as it could be another informal event? I'm wondering if the car park at Cosford rather than the grassed area might be an idea & if we keep those attending off forum it might stop the 'yoofs' from trying to over-turn it....just organising it for breakfast time would probably do it. Alternatively a decent cafe with large car park somewhere or a pub that will do decent breakfast/coffees idea I'm just going off to speak to a friend wink
