Could I have some advice on selling a car please?

Hi,
I have been helped out many times before by the wonderful font of knowledge that is PistonHeads and it's members. I am now selling my car, which is a first for me.
I have placed an advert on the PistonHeads Classifieds, and I have priced the car at a reasonable amount as to which I think is fair for condition against other examples.
What I am asking really, is it worth placing duplicate adverts on eBay and AutoTrader or will I receive a large amount of hassle from idiots? I appreciate the greater exposure will help but I don't want to be innundated with people asking for my "Best price bruv, innit". I appreciate the car itself will lean towards people of that nature!

I placed an add on Pistonheads and the same add as a classified on Ebay.
The chap who bought the car had seen it in both places.
I think that wherever you advertise it you can expect a number of contacts from chancers offering "50p cash waiting", or "wots ur bets prce?".
In general, one should advertise as widely as possible.

Thanks for your wishes! I wouldn't say the car is leggy, it is a very low mileage example. Undesirable, maybe, but lots of life left yet 
I shall leave the car on PistonHeads and hope it generates some interest. I've printed off a QR code to link straight to the advert and shall stick that in a window but I won't go further at the moment.

You know what, it's funny, but I've easily sold three cars in the last five years.
Each time I put both an ad on here, and started an Ebay auction to run for seven days with no reserve.
Annoyingly I've never had a single call from PH, and sold all the cars on Ebay for about the price I expected (one for more actually). The cars sale prices range from £700 to £1400, so nothing too exotic.
Even stranger though, I didn't get loads of random 'wots ur best price geez' emails either.
Oh and in each case the buyer turned up and paid the cash, without trying to haggle or knock money off. And I've nver heard back from any of them.

I've had exactly the same experiences. If the ebay winner has messed me around, the second chance offer has always come in and worked a treat. Best way to sell cars imho

Be clear, concise and have good communication if you feel you have a lead.

Pretty much my experience although the last 2 sub-1k cars I have sold through my local auction. Yes, I lost about £150-200 in comparison (after fees) to an ebay sale but its so little hassle. I asked this two weeks ago.
About a day after I put it on ebay, I sold it from my PH advert.
A guy on here said to take some better photos. I went out and took them, then sold the car 1 hour after uploading them to my advert.
Oh and it actually was the first person to look at the car.

I Googled a free QR code maker! With a bit of software writing and a smart phone you could cheaply make a bespoke stock package... But I digress.How do you do that?
I looked at costs of adverts last time round. If I remember my fag packet calculations, I could have three months on PH for one month on Autotrader...
