Also, Club Lotus and the Lotus Driver's Club (and any other Lotus owners who feel like attending!) meet on the second Monday of every month at a pub called the Clock Warehouse, at Shardlow, near Derby. Went myself for the first time last month, and there was a pretty impressive turnout.

Hi - I'm in Matlock. There is a monthly Lotus club meet at a pub at Pilsley (the posh one near Bakewell, not the one near Chesterfield...) I've been meaning to go but never got round to it. Let me know if you're interested and I'll ask a mate for the details.

I'm in Nottingham but work in Sheffield so hoof through Chesterfield quite a bit.

There is a monthly Midlands run. More details on www.mloc.net.

The Nottingham Elises have a pub meet on the last Thursday of the month in various pubs round Nottinghamshire.

I'm not normally a regular on here just happen to be browsing - but thought I should post as I too live in Matlock, black 111R, previously black S1 Type 79.

I haven't seen many about here, so which one is yours?

I've only managed to get home in time fom work once to make it to the Pilsey meet, as I work in Brum.

Defo. up for a meet or a run sometime.

Also, echo Fiona's comments - MLOC appears to be most active with great forum.

Hi TIMH - the Pilsley meet takes place at the Devonshire Arms on the first Tuesday of the month, so it should be next Tuesday. I think I'll try and get along (if the weather is fine...). I guess the best way to Pilsley from Chesterfield is along the Chatsworth Road towards Bakewell, then left at the big roundabout near Baslow and following the signs towards Chatsworth?

Hi Barbapapa - I have a silver S2. Haven't noticed you around town but I commute to Bakewell so I guess we go in opposite directions. There are a few of us in Matlock - I regularly see a red S1 and another silver S2. I'll keep a close look out for you! We ought to take part in the SELOC Lotus run to Bruntingthorpe on 31 July.

Live right on the Derbys/Yorks border - have passports for both - I nip up to meet up with NYLOC guys and gals (top bunch)in York each month - 40+ Lotus cars gather every month

Not sure what time its finshes probably not til 9 - 9.30.

I'm unlikely to get home from Brum before 8.30 but if I know other people are up for it, I'll make the effort to get there for half an hour or so.

Went to Pilsley + had a great time - where were you guys!!!
Not sure what time it starts but I got there about 9pm and there was still a big crowd when I left about 10.30.
There were about 20 Lotus's - S1 & S2 elise's, an Exige, an Esprit V8, a Caterham, a handful of classic and new-style Elans and an Elite. Also a few other marques like classic Triumphs - all the classics looked in pristine condition.
