farmer hits back!
Discussion
just reading my local paper.
some gypo's forced their way onto a farmers land and refused to move(surprise!
)
farmer called the police and was told they couldn't take any action BUT warned him that they could prosecute him if he attmpted to remove them himself!!
so he has dug a trench around their site so that no more pikey's can move in and they can't get out until the court eviction notice arrives!all in the face of intimidation from the scummers who would sue him the moment he placed a hand on them!
while i appreciate that the police largely have their hands tied by laws(something against minority groups)it seems that you just can't pick up a paper these days without good, honest, law abiding, tax paying citizens being royally shafted by bureaucrats who have no idea about what happens in the real world.
are the bib on here just as frustrated by these situations as the rest of us are?its got to be sooo annoying being in the middle of these situations and being, largely, powerless it seems?

This is a very good tactic, my uncle Jim did this in the eighties when they moved onto land next of his next to his factory, he started some heavy duty earth moving in a JCB, chief gippo (driving a 911 as it happens) asks whats going on? Jim explained that he was digging a trench to ensure that they couldnt move even to go shopping. They all left.
Ooh the old trench trick, IIRC a non 'PC' Met Police officer obtained the help of a local JCB driver and did just that, that or they parked the old Panda's in front of the main exit stopping all the Travelling folk going about their business. Believe me it does happen, you just need to dig a deep enough hole.

How "PC" is this ?? Not very. A person I met was a marsh warden and suffered from our travelling community on a regular basis until he devised this method. Shove hay bale under caravan below door and douse in petrol, knock on door with lighter in hand, and politley inquire if they would like to leave now or stay for ever?? Don't try this at home.
Edited to add :- he was of course quite mad and had no sense of fear, it was however totally effective.

Yeah right

After our recent invasion the council have built an earth bank ten feet deep and ten feet high (at least) over the end of the little cul-de-sac they used to gain access.
Whilst they *could* get earth movers and so on I think its unlikely. That and since the cul-de-sac is inhabited by retired people who are at home a lot there would be witnesses to any criminal damage required to gain access. As I understand it this would mean arrests could be made rather than needing to get an eviction order..
This is one occasion where I have to say I believe our local government services have been right on the ball.

When they get on MOD land the rules are slightly different apparently. They turn up with a mobile crushing unit & hiab unit & give em 60 mins to get out.
Rather effective I hear
Unfortunately they invaded a recently vacated MOD site a few miles from us some years back.
On this site were about a dozen very nice MOD houses which were due to come onto the market at an accessible price for needy locals only. Not quite sure how they were going to fix that but anyway that was the intention.
In between the "travellers" arriving and being ejected, they'd stripped every single thing of value out of the houses in such a manner that the buildings had to be demolished. Then they wonder why the reception they get in the area is less than friendly.
A side issue of their occupation on this site is that a local builder was stopped one night by an out of area PC assigned an unfamiliar beat.
This builder was known as a regular on the DUI scene. (No longer but that's another story) Unfortunately seeing as he was driving an extremely disreputable drop side Tranny, PC99 marked him down as a traveller, ie name John Smith, address;- caravan on back, and decided "what is the point?" Wrong decision I'm sure we all agree but that is what happened, all allegedly of course, but quite sadly not at all surprising.

Of course the reason most officers dont bother is that if you nick em then the family has no source of income (claimed anyway) and so you then have to store the vehicles etc, put the family up in a B&B, pay for their lives whilst Gypo father is in side.
from my experience one of the biggest reasons that the poloce and others don`t do anything is that they are scared to for a number fo reasons. You simply cant apply the law to animals who are prepared to do the things they do. My parents live in Leighton Buzzard and i grew up round there so i know first hand what these scumbags get up to. I am not trying to get anybodys back up but what with the PC brigade and the fact that they are all tooled up its not suprising that they are allowed to get away with it. I know of some pretty unsavory and certainly not small people that have had to actually go into hiding because they lashed out against the `travellers` who have then demanded revenge.
They are simply all scum.
They are simply all scum.
When I lived in St.Albans, some travellers moved onto a derelict factory site nearby. The first night they were there, one of the caravans was mysteriously struck by half a gallon of paraffin. They left the next day.
And no, it wasn't me, nor do I know who did it. But I suspect the majority of the locals were grateful.
