Nice, but I would say that.
I thought 500 wheels were like gold dust now.
2nd hand I take it?

Put the same on mine, did you go 16" front and rear? What happened to the old ones?

They're like rocking horse poo ("how rare"), which means that if you damage them on your genuine Griff 500 or Chimaera 500 then you've got a problem replacing them.

Doesn't help when Chimaera 400 and 450 owners buy them up to pretend that they've got a Chimaera 500.

actualy there were an option for all the later Chimaeras, you can still have a chim 500 with the 5 spokes

as said "hens teeth" and even harder to find in good condition for a sensible price. the old ones will be retired to the garage

16"/15" if you know of any 16" fronts going let me know

Me too, Griff standard wheels seem too angular for such a curvy shape

I must admit that when I bought mine I felt the same, but bought the 500 anyway in spite of its wheels.

However, 3 years on and they have grown on me to the extent that I prefer them now.

theres certainly nothing wrong with the 5 spokes, except maybe they show off your rusty brake discs a little to much

now all i need is a suite of leven bits and some cerby seats and she'll be perfect

I agree, the 5 spokes are a bit more aggressive looking to me

I submit to the learned counsel that one of the aforementioned people said that they now prefer the 500's to the 5 spokes.

and in reply to my friend I would wish to point out that simply a further post in agreement is sufficient for the purposes of concluding it was not "only me". In view of this, protracted posting on the issue of number of agreeable posts does not appear to further the argument of my learned opponent...

I concede the point that my most erudite opponent is making and withdraw my objection forthwith.
