How's this for devotion to the Corvette cause:

There is a guy in the US called Sponge Vette who answered a request from another owner who wanted to know when his car was built. This opened the flood gates and so far this thread has had 915 posts and 12,000 views. Sponge Vette does not seem phased - he gave me info on mine and seems to be willing to carry on forever. You can get all of this info for a C5 from the C5 Registry web site. My Z06 shares my mum's birthday! (Obviously not the same year)

Post the last 6 digits of your VIN and the year and I can look it up on the C5 Registry site!
