On one hand, it's nonsense.

But, I think it's a fascinating subject to explore.

How about some bad-guy points for breaking the Geneva convention?
How about some way to surrender in a game, or to demand they surrender or you kill them?
How do you factor in the Geneva convention with fictional weapons?
Can you get away with breaking the Geneva Convention if you leave no witnesses alive?

Nope. I once shouted in BF2 "Can we not sit around a table and discuss things?" only for everyone to promptly shout back "NO!" before shooting me.

That's awesome, I can just see it now.

"Team A have won, however due to the nature of several kills, KrazyIvan has been reported for War crimes" hehe

PS Sounds like the Red Cross are trying to get a bit of free marketing. Or they really have nothing better to do with their time. Perhaps they need to stop mixing with champagne socialists who discuss England's human rights breaches with disgust and look at the real world.

Well clearly not, because Gran Turismo isn't about racing on public roads.

Better check your insurance is valid for track days though.

"Whether or not gamers who had won the longest 'killstreaks' - an uninterrupted run of kills in online games - could be prosecuted is another question."

No it's not.
It is one of the stupidest things I have heard, and I saw it yesterday in some US paper, so you can't blame the Mail for making it up.

If they want to say that is illegal, then they'll have to arrest a hell of a lot of writers first for imagining similar fantasies.
