Anyone done a Knockhill rally experience? I've been thinking about getting one for christmas but looking at some of the videos on YouTube it looks a bit slow but then that might depend on how competent you are at driving the car?

I just don't want to go and find that all you do is just calmly cruising around some gravel tracks.

I did the rally experience back in September.

Really enjoyed it. Only got about 10 laps round a rally circuit, but generally thought it was good.

Looked quite slow pace, and was told to take it at our own pace. But I just went for it! biggrin

I did the rally experience last year. I also only got about 10 laps and the speed was fast enough for the track. I was able to slide the car round the corner a few times. You can either go for it or take it at your own pace the instructors in the car will always be keeping an eye on if there is a faster car behind you and will instruct you to pull over or you will be instructed to overtake if you are the faster car.

It was a good morning out but Im not sure you get enough laps for the money. It may make better value if you arrange to do one of the other experiences in the afternoon.

Go for it, only thing I wish I had done was use their go-pro like things they had set up and all you do is buy a memory card thing and it records it all.
I had an absolute blast with the father in law, slightly greasy when we did it too but I would do it again!

I've never done the rally day, but a couple of my mates are instructors, and reckon the rally day is the one that puts the most smiles on faces, of all the packages you can choose from.
Its sounding better and better, thanks. smile

When I did a single seater day it was a bit damp and some were spinning frequently. No danger of it being on if its snowy/icy.
