I have a 2 hour drive along the Fosse Way on friday to the company christmas bash and a 2 hour drive back on Saturday. The fosse Way is a great drivers road and I always enjoy it.

The question is, whether to use the Tuscan or not. Ordinarily it would be a no brainer, but the weather forecast suggests overnight temps of -1 or -2 and daytime temps of 3 or 4. The low temps mean that the roads will have been gritted/salted and the car will have to stand outside overnight (its normally garaged) and wake up for an early start to drive home (subject to alcahol consumption the night before)

What would others do? My chassis is sound, but needs touching up, the car is water tight and the heater works.

I tend to avoid going near the Tiv the morning after a night out, Le Mans being the exception. Takes too much concentration!

I am taking it. The CEO has just asked me to pick him up from the station (he doesn't know I am planning to take the tusc!)

He isn't into cars really, so it could be interesting

Make sure the roof is off.

Drive a couple of miles, so he starts to get cold.

Stop, apologise, and give him the most ridiculous woolly hat and scarf you can find.

"Oh sorry, I should have given you the passenger weather protection at the station"

I need a bonus and a payrise! Not sure your strategy is in my best interests!

If you want a pay rise I would show the boss that you are living the dream on what they are paying you.
