Great day apart from the very long stoppage due to that nail of an escort cosworth losing its wheel. Not busy either for a focused events day. Gorgeous weather too!Thought Dan the instructor was very good actually. It was great to just have someone talk you round the correct track and it really sped me up. Done so many trackdays but enjoying having instruction on the last couple to iton out bad habits.
Our car ran beautifully all day and purred home.

It's not that funny 
I was taking it easy on the straights, not to burden the brakes too much.
I found I was much much quicker with him in the car than by myself.
I got him to drive it too, he was so much faster than me, and taking a lot more speed in the corners.
I think I managed to boil my brake fluid in the end ( Castrol SRT at 50 quid a litre ). But all goood.
At the end of the day I managed a 14-15 lap stint so no too shabby for the old Jag
