Dan Wheldon. Only British double Indy 500 winner.
Al Unser Sr and Jr. Super successful for 3 decades of racing.
Jean Ragnotti. A very under-rated driver.
Tom Walkinshaw and Smokey Yunnick. Both for getting away with murder.

I agree with this, he doesn't really get the recognition he deserves in my opinion.
