My farcemaera is with Emerald (ECU) who have pretty much condemned my "new" loom. Ronald McDonald may as well have installed the one that's in there as far as they're concerned...

Fed up with messing around (being messed around): I will pay a fair price for a proper job, sealed connections blah blah blah.

Who's "the Man" ?

Ant.

Hey Jammy - when I had my MS installed on the Griff I insisted on a new loom to get rid of the standard rat's nest.

Shaun at V8 Developments made it up from scratch and whilst obviously it works, beyond that all I can say is that the connections look extremely tidy, he turned the job around quite quickly and the layout is so much neater that it looks as though 80% of the wiring has been removed from the engine bay.

He's also extremely patient and helpful on the phone which is not always the case with busy specialists - Highly recommended.

Evidently Paul Dove IS the man - his name is flying into me from all angles.

F it - I've waited this long, another coupla months won't hurt and I want the best job for peace of mind.

To be fair Dave & Karl didn't have time to more than give it a quick once over as it arrived with them at 4pm, so maybe it won't be as bad as they first thought...

er.... what's the odds of that ? wink

Thanks Craig - I know of your credentials - we had a chat a while back and I'm of course aware of your higher-profile projects.

Trouble is the car is now in deepest East Anglia, so the to-ing and fro-ing between there and the midlands would cost a fortune, by far the most expensive element of the job (although I've found a great and cheap transporter, will post separately).

Appreciate the offer, I'm likely leaving it at Emerald to sort, but will resolve tomorrow.

No probs , dont they have a guy to do it ? I'm sure they will sort it for you . They are top people ( petrol heads like the rest of us ) not many other companies would help like they do !!
