type 9 gearbox leak

Hi there, was wondering if someone can help me.

Just mated my type 9 gearbox to the upgraded x flow and noticed that gearbox oil leaked in the bellhousing. Is this because I put the engine and gearbox on its side to thighten the lower bolts? The oil seems to be leaking from the top of the bellhousing. Not a lot came out but gearbox was nearly empty.

Do I have a problem? Thanks

You did put a new gasket on the bellhousing to box didn't you? Also the seal can leak on the input shaft, this shagged the clutch on my SS1 a few years ago.

I never removed the bellhousing from the box, it never leaked before.
