Not for the first time, I went down to the garage in order to start the car - just to hear the AJP8 fire in to life. It really is truly addictive.
Imagine my pain when this time - the battery was too flat to wake the engine. I could have manoeuvred cars in order to jump start it, but I decided that I really couldn't justify that - not just to sit in the car and hear the insanely addictive engine note for a couple of minutes.
How sad am I? How sad are you? What have you done that you are too ashamed admit?

Starting and letting an AJP idle justs runs the battery down further, as naff all charge comes out the alternator until 1800 revs cos of the relevant pulley sizes.

I had to move cars around at the weekend and let the Cerb idle for some time in order to recoup some charge, that explains why it was flat - thanks.HTH.

Before I got an accumate, mine would run the battery down in a couple of weeks, even with the alarm off sat in the garage, if didn't take it for a proper run.djstevec said:

Just out of curiosity,the predictive txt on my phone came up with sorghum when typing worthy - what the hell is that?! That's how sad I am.
