I took my VW T25 into work today due to the storms predicted for central Scotland - it's pretty good through floods and the like.

Not that I'm planning going over any bridges, but wondered if T25's are classed as high sided vehicles? I'm thinking not as it's no higher than an Merc ML/L200 and the likes, but thought I'd ask.

Cheers, j

(PS it's a van, no hi-top or anything).

It may be no higher than a large off roader, but it is far more slab sided and probably has a greater side surface area than one too. I don't think it's high sided enough to be of any great concern if it's a regular van though. Just take care and you'll be fine.

My Dad's 1990 T25 is a bit hairy in wind and it's a low top (elevating roof). His ex high top T25 was LETHAL!

^^As above but bear in mind the rear engined configuration will make it more unstable in crosswinds (can't remember exactly why).
