On my normal route in towards work today I was behind a Lotus for a few miles. Nothing unusual you might say, but I've not seen one like it before. I thought at first it might be a Tesla as it looked identical, but was badged up as a Lotus Sport 240R.
I've since checked the reg and it comes back as a Lotus.
Now what is it? Would it be an early test bed for the Tesla and just badged as a Lotus but with the Tesla engine?
The rear lights are different to what appears on the Tesla and the Lotus. Unless its been tweaked and had some minor cosmetic changes?

It looked really sleek and next time if I see it, I'm definately going to ask exactly what it is.

Anyone seen it before or have any ideas as to what it is?

BTW I was going down the A322 from Bracknell heading towards the M3.

240R was one of the first 'special' Exige S2s. Black or yellow. Nice wheels. Quite nippy.

Really? The rear lights were a big complete unit and all the others I've seen look different.
This was a gun-metal grey colour.

Just saying what a 240R is smile

Unless it was a 340R? But that doesn't have '340R' visible on the rear.

Ok.

I'll have to have a closer inspection or a chat with the chap and see what it is.

Cheers.
