Last night I decided to get the ice cream maker out of the cupboard it inhabits most of the time and do some ice cream making (thinking of mince-pie, orange marmalade, peanut butter & choc. chip variations) and then I realised why I don't do this more often (apart from the effect on the waistline, of course).

Then I realised the reason is that I'll make a batch and either eat it all in one go immediately or put it in the freezer in one big container and then find it difficult to portion because it's too frozen so I wait until it softens up and then eat it all in one go again.

What I need to do is put it in individual tubs (the same size as a mini Haagan Daz 100ml tubs if poss.) and then I can get one or two out each time and maintain some sort of ice cream eating discipline.

So I had a look online and can find manufacturers of suitable waxed paper tubs and lids, but the MOQ is 500 or 1000. I really want to find paper tubs and lids in smaller quantities (25/50) but I've drawn a blank. So does anyone here know where I can get some?

Yeh, I can find the party supplies places which do cups for putting scoops of ice cream to give to kids at parties and I can find cups with domed plastic lids but they would take up too much space in the freezer.

One of those things I would have thought someone would sell in small quantities, but maybe not?
