This might be a little premature but I wonder if any of the early friday arrivals might be willing to help me out.

Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances (basically the last few weeks have seen everything in my schedule go pearshaped) it looks like my racecar is not quite going to be ready in time for the race on saturday, at least it won't be ready if I go to PF on friday and then there would be no point in turning up until saturday evening (infact it would be rather difficult).

So rather than miss out on the festivities my intention is to pack the car up on thursday "as-is" and get the job finished on friday once my tent is ready and my brain has been suitably lubricated with the falling down stuff (just a little - I *do* have a job to do). To this end I may need some assistance - if only a spare pair of hands. The work is most likely going to be bleeding the cooling system and possibly some minor electrical work (lets just say I don't trust my mechanic when it comes to electrics so everything is going to need double checking). I should have all the tools I need on hand.

I would offer passenger rides in the car but a) there isn't a second seat; b) I doubt if I would get away with that for long; and c) given the number of problems I've experienced of late I don't want to break anything else.

There might be some free tickets to the race but seeing as it clashes rather horribly I can't see anyone taking that up either.

So I guess I'll just have to buy a few drinks

My aim is to be at Santa Pod for mid-late morning (got to claim a decent pitch with good access for obvious reasons).

All help is appreciated so thanks for the assistance

It's not at Santa Pod is it? Or has it been re-named? Ignorant as I am about the UK's drag strips.

There will be plenty oh helpers at PF I'm sure.....just look at the offers above.

Don't get confused though folks- PF is at Stratford, and although he's attending PF, Jimbro's race is at Santa Pod !!!!!!!!!
