Hi All

About 2 or 3 months ago, Stephen Bailey was talking about LJK Setright in his column and mentioned a couple of "must have" books for every car nut. Could someone tell me what they were please as I've now given my copy away banghead

I'll have a look tonight for you if nobody has access to one before hand.

All I can remember LJK going on about was Bristols, Honda Preludes and early Fiat X1/9s with lightweight bumpers.
Funny how things stick in your mind isn't it? I've still got all my CAR mags from the 1980s and into the 1990s. Brilliant read at the time.

In fact I recommend these for your Christmas stocking:

LJK certainly did, good reading if a little time-consuming with all the dictionary fumbling that was needed! He was an amazing engineer and I think it said his dad invented the bus conductor ticket machine...

I'm not sure the books he SB was talking about were LJK's - one was about 1960s racing cars I think.

The Golden Age of the American Racing Car by Griff Borgeson (1966)
The Grand Prix Car 1954-1966 by Setright (1968)
