Quality, trustworthy Audi indy garage out there?
Discussion
I have used IVC (Independant Volkswagen Centre) in Leeds for servicing my works car, and I have had a VW Transporter in there this morning for a diagnosis of a fault, which it is going back for repairs next week.
I haven't enough experience to make much of a judgement, but I am happy with the work done and the costs so far.
(Happier than when I used the main dealer).
They are on Pontefract Road on the road from the M1 through Stourton towards where Costco and Crown Point are.

I've used Leeford for service on my A4 and diagnosis and repair of an intermittent electrical problem (faulty relay). I found them helpful and professional - you can actually talk to the people who did the work if you have any questions. Not expensive either.
They are close to Leeds city centre.

German autocare in pudsey.
My car needed a fuel temp sensor and they quote £82+VAT for the part and 1/2hr to fit it, so about £120 all in. I acquired one from the main dealer for £17 and fitted it in 3 minutes. Just today my car failed its MOT on both front outer CV boots, an LED mirror side repeater, and airbag wiring loom (test cancelled with no fee due to technical issues at the garage). They wanted near £600, and that didn't include the MOT or retest to do the work. The main dealer is doing the MOT, boots and indicator for under £200, and will fit me in before the new year to avoid the airbag light being a test fail, all for under £200. The airbag loom will be supplied and fitted for under £100 later. Those sexy new premises are being paid for by someone, but it won't be me !Gassing Station | Yorkshire | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
