Mailwasher

I've used Mailwasher 2.0 happily for some months to filter out spam and viruses.

For the last couple of days though it's been getting stuck dowloading messages - eg this morning it did 2 out of 9, then stuck. Reconnecting and relaunching made no difference.

At first I blamed the Metronet connection which has been very iffy recently - but the odd thing is that the messages download perfectly using OE. Except that then I get the crap as well!

Do you think if I re-install Mailwasher it will sort itself out?

I've occasionally had that problem. It seemed to get stuck on a particular message, so I downloaded the lot in OE and deleted the girlz/drugs/enlargement emails. After that MW seems fine

Hmm,

had that once or twice with version 2, but now I'm on v4 it hasn't happened once.
I know this dosen't help your immediate situation, but the upgrade may be worth it that's all.
