As my father in law is looking for Series 2 / 2a, do anyone know decent one for sale - please let me know.

Would like to be tax exempt model (Series 3 can be considered)

Just so you know, all S2 and S2a's will be tax exempt, and also some early S3's (up to 1973). Good luck on the hunt and hope you enjoy the car.

Thanks - just got tax exempt series 3 (1971). Lovely tractor !!

Just had nut and bolt rebuild (new chassis and 200tdi engine with 300tdi turbo) for very good price.

Excellent - best of both worlds - tax exampt and economical. Might be worth considering parabolic springs to maintain on-road composture.

It already got parabolic springs which is bonus. It got range rover diffs, fairey overdrive and free wheeling hubs.
