Our power went off yesterday during the storms. Just wanted to say thanks in case any of the employees/engineers are on here....Must have been a horrible night to try and restore power!

pah mines went off last night for 3 and a half hours and again later on.
Wasnt a light breeze to be seen! was a bit cold but that was it!

It was a horrible night, well, others have told me it was as I was sound asleep with my phone to my ear waiting for it to ring, which thankfully it never did.

In the last ten years or so we have really got to grips with fault conditions and our response really is quite immediate.

I have heard of a few close escaped with trees coming down around the field staff.

Coming home on Sat am in the early hours, there was a whole convoy of northern ireland vehicles heading north on the A82 past loch lomond. I'm not kidding - there must have been about 40 cars / vans / trucks. Presumably came in to lend a much needed hand.
