Gutted ! still running in

Returning home from work last night. A motorbike, Mitsubushi 3000GT and a Scooby doo all zoomed up behind trying to get me to press the loud pedal.

Since I am still running in(just had rebuild)I had to limit the revs to 4200 rpm or so. So I was little peeved to see them wizz by, I would have really liked to give a little blip of the pedal just to prove a point and then ease off again. I decided they were not worth risking my engine for so I held the TUS back.

I wonder if I will bump into them again?, I only have 218 miles left of running in. Can't wait!

Had a good race with a bike yesterday.. and he was 2 up with the bird on the back.

just wanted to see if it could keep up with the bike... took it up to 1** cough cough and he was just managing to stay in touch. Eventually slowed down and pulled over, and he overtook and gave us a wave.

Also, noticed that about 50% of bike riders will acc/nod/wave you going by too...As a biker I'm used to acknowleding bikers, but never in the car... seems they treat trevors like honourary bikes ! :-)

Yeah we get some respect from the bikers, they also don't seem to bother racing us, whereas they are happy to beat up the various japmobiles
