Sound proofing/heat material

please can anyone out there give me a clue as to where i could source the material that is used under our cars.mine is in good nick but one piece near the manifold has begun to break up a tadge.Expect there is a product out there,seems similiar to the stuff i use in loft conversions but hey i may be wrong,any ideas welcome
