Exhaust manifold stud kit, anyone used?

Planning to take pre-cats out and was interested to see if anyone has tried these for refitting manifold after?

My manifolds are studded on the bottom, but that kit seems expensive, buy 8 1 1/4 bolts and cut the heads off.
Slot the bottom holes in the manifolds too.

1.5" 3/8UNC Socket set screws, nuts & washers should cost peanuts from your local specialist fastener shop. As ant says you can only use them on the bottom of TVR manifolds if you slot the flanges, that is why personally I prefer the waisted studs with 5/16"UNF nuts.
