.....for the weather this weekend.

The 5 day forecast doesn't exactly look amazing (Here!)

Let's hope they've got it wrong as usual!!

I spent last Saturday in a field in the rain standing underneath a £29.99 Tescos Gazebo at the Bentley Drivers Club annual rally.

This Saturday I am happy to do the same, difference being I can get and lots.

Hi Warren

Don't know if you remember me; we met at the Manchester airport tunnel blast ages ago..I had the blue Chim 500 you sat in. Look forward to a drink together over the weekend.

What was the Bentley event like? Was it much fun, or were you admiring the tartan rugs and scotch egg making prowess of other owners?

Best Regards

Martyn.

We'll have a good time regardless of the weather Would be nice if it was at least dry though.

Last year was too hot.

Why? Did you not win the 'scotch egg making whilst steamed on a port and sherry combo' contest?

Best Regards

Having just spent last weekend p1ss wet through and ankle deep in mud at Glastonbury I'm convinced the weather this weekend will be an improvement.

If not, I'll do as I did then and until I don't care.

Whatever the weather, I'm sure it'll be a blast

Martyn, Of course I remember you, yes we'll have a beer or five.

Actually it wasnt scotch eggs and tartan rugs, some of the terribly posh folks had crisp white linen and some amazing centrepieces for their folding tables, flowers, candleabras, silverware, best china...totally hamming it up of course. More posh frocks and hats than Ascot.

At the rough end of the club (that's Turbo R's and MKVI's) it was of course tartan blankets and sarnies.

Martyn,

As the son of a Bentley owner, I resent that remark.

I'm actually working on Dr. T to bring his Brooklands to the next VMAX. Comments like yours ain't helping mate!

Go to the met office site and they show no rain at all on Saturday. It's all nonsense - don't believe a word of it.

Blimey, that was quick work Ted. Could you do another one for the second week of July please as I'm off work all week.
