Real dilemma over selling my Tam and buying my dream TVR ?

Ok this is my dilemma I have just had my Tamora back from Track V Road and D and C.It has had new carpets and almost complete interior,a new clutch,slave cylinder,steering rack ,shocks (rear),lcd pod,powder coat cam cover,12000 mile service,bushes,quick release bonnet pins,engine mounts,exhaust mounts,Blueflame sports exhaust,track rod ends,2 rear tyres,valve clearances,4 new black powder coated wheels,a new vinyl wrap in pearlescent white, etc etc etc and I do love it but my dream car has just come onto the market.
Having got my Tam so sorted I am torn between selling my soul and my kids to get this dream TVR ,it is loads more money and her indoors is already reaching boiling point, but it is my ultimate car that I missed a few years ago.
So guys what would you do? do I put my car up for sale right away ?

Wow that's a lot of work to get your Tam spot on, not sure I would part with mine if I'd done that much to it recently. I have to ask, what is this dream TVR you speak of?

Do it sir,as long as it does not effect how your home runs then its fine.I blew the budget to get my dream car...and must say its worth every penny.your here once so enjoy it while you can

No harm in putting your Tam up for sale and see if you get what you think it is worth, if you get it, then get this TVR you talk of, if it doesn't sell at your price keep the Tam. It looks great.

Thanks guys, you're right im going to put it on market and see what develops,my dream car is a Tuscan of some sort!!

Yes, probably a better guess. I still find it odd that the Sag is £15K more expensive.

I guess the first problem is that, having spent so much geting your Tam in tip top condition, what would you have to do to this dream car ?
So are you going to have to spend even more on top of the purcahse ?
If its the Tuscan Convertible then I can understand and the one people are guessing at looks great.
What I would say is that I spent quite a lot geting my first Tuscan to drive something like,
After I wrote her off I test drove a Tam and thought it drove fantastic. I ended up buying a Tuscan Convertible and, as yet its still not to the drivability level of my Mk1 Tuscan and definitely no comparison to the Tam I test drove.

Hard decision.

Whats the rush ???? having spent a shed load on your Tam, enjoy the upgrades, get some miles on those new tyres and enjoy it for at least 12 months. After that, think about another car, they will still be there !

BTW, Griffith 500 is the ULTIMATE TVR Convertible - end of !

I agree on both counts, enjoy the Tam as some have said it will be alot harder[than were ur at] to get the Tuscan as well set up.

As much as I like the Tuscan S Convertable and I really do, it is the best TVR convertable in my opinion(not the Griff 500).I would keep the Tam and keep the extra 17k or so it will cost you to change in your pocket. The Tam is a great car you should enjoy it having spent all that time and money on it and the perfomance between the 2 will be marginal in everyday driving conditions.

I agree with George. You have one of the best handling TVR's around and the performance will be the same as a standard Tuscan Sp6, at least most of the 3.6 sp6 make there quoted bhp figures.
