Quite fancy one but nervous of reliability and running expence. Anyonbe had one / can advise?
Never had one but as far as I know the lump is a PSA (Peugeot) one used by Jaguar, Landrover and Ford as well, I think. The 2.7's been superceded by a 3.0 version of the same thing these days.

I had one for about 20k miles in 4 or 5 months as a daily smoker, I really enjoyed it. It was brisk enough, torquey, well built and made a great long distance cruiser. I had zero problems with it in that time, it had done about 47k when I got it and about 67k when I moved it on. One thing to be aware of, they have a diesel auxiliary heater which can cause a bit of smoke from the front end when it is working (cold mornings), nothing to worry about.
