While fixing my screen washer yesterday, which entailed removing the washer bottle (The pipe had got kinked) I found a spare connector hanging about in there, behind the headlamps.

Is it for anything or is it supposed to be redundant?

Thanks

Andy

redundant .
sounds barmy but was put in there for electric headlight hight adjustment, a thing that was never fitted to any of the models.

The electric headlamp adjustment is fitted to the light, it just doesn't go back to any device that can change the headlight angle, like a little rotary switch. I've often thought about trying to wire it in somehow (it's a standard Hella item), but I've never managed to find any info on what I need to do.

The little knob to the left of the steering wheel does the dash lights, the little knob to the right of the steering wheel does the intermittent wash wipe speed change.

Well that connector is hanging loose behind the lights in my car. I couldn't see anything that it might connect to.

No, but in my experience there's usually knob just before the steering wheel that often needs adjustment. hehe
