Can anyone help on a Land Rover to compete?

Well where to start?

Mother asked the old man waht he wanted for christmas and his answer was a Comp Land Rover that both me and him could race! Have to admit I'm not going to complain about that!

WE kind of know about the old series Land Rovers having had many in the past and one for me first and third car so have done a bit of road taxed comps but have no real idea where to start looking for a comp vehicle (around £2,000 - £2,500ish).

No worries is f it needes a bit of cosmetic work but just wondered if any one had one for sale around somerset or any ideas were to look!?

I did hear that the late Mike Wolf's 100" Defender is for sale, JE 4.2 V8 auto, needs TLC, was a great car.

KCC in Hampshire which is I am told no longer in business is maybe where it is or you could contact Ben Gott at Keith Gott Landrovers just outside Alton in Hampshire.

Nice car and very well built many years ago by AJS Landrovers in Surrey with a 200TDI, then changed hands a few times, would be nice to see that out racing again.
