Little ned getting his Comeuppance
Discussion
Have you read some of the comments, some people clearly live in a different world. The boy hadn't done anything wrong, big man has committed a crime, the conductors at fault. Scotland's full of a
holes. The list goes on and on.
Few things from the comments,
Sams 19 and has diabetis, was drunk, had no cash, or his medicine.
I don't see how any of the above is anyone's fault but his, getting arsey with the conductors not a good move and surely it's not hard to ask for a return if you know your getting the train back.
Big man was right imho to get rid and get the train moving again. Sam will either learn from it or get thrown off a train again by big man mk2.

Think I can guess what way this will go, but seriously hope the bloke who assisted the ned's evacuation from the train doesn't get into the sh*t over this.

Not going to hate the guy, but 2 wrongs don't make a right.
The big guy has lifted him off the train. Ok first wrong.
But "Sam" has also done something wrong. Hes got on the train without the correct ticket. Im not bothered if hes drunk. No ticket no travel. If he has then went out into edinburgh without the medication. Again thats his fault. Not anyone elses fault but him. That shouldn't be a excuse. Friends of mine have diabetis and they like the drink but i always know they have there medication on them. If hes has ended up with no cash. Again, his fault for not saying. "I need £10 to get home.2 Does he not have a mobile so he can phone his parents. Or even get a taxi home and have the taxi paided at the house. Then swearing at the conductor. All hes wants is to do his job, and go home at night. Not get some stupid little b***** swearing at him.
But if it was me as the police, everyone would be dropped. i was just say. don't act like a ass to "sam"

This is one of those situatiosn where the authorities need to be very careful. Pressing any charges against the big man could create a public uproar. People are getting fed up with those who think they are exempt from the rules, that the law doesn't appy to them and they can do as they please and get away with it. The authorities seem to let such people off lightly and thus, it's understandable that the public are starting to take action.
No doubt there will be endless excuses and reasons as to wahy the lad sat there being abusive but I for one don't give a s
t. He could ahve quietly explained his situation, had somebody meet him at his destination with money for his fare etc. I'm sure the travel providers will have a sympathetic ear and be understanding of genuine cases and would endeavour to help. However, drunk, abusive... nah pal, off the train and if you refuse to, you'll be put off the train.
We should be allowed to defend our way of life against knobheads like him. People were on the train, they wanted home, why should they be delayed by some little arse who's drunk and abusive to staff. Why should a train full of paying customers be inconvenienced by one person who thinks he's above the law, why should they wait until the police finally bother to show up and deal with it by way of "Don't do that, on your way son"
I see this as no different from helping a doorman or a security gaurd escort an abusive drunk from a shop or a bar. There was no assult, no violence. He was picked up and removed then barred from coming back. That s
t happens every Friday and Saturday night in every pub and club between Bognor and Thurso.
Well done I say, the big man done good.

Quite a good way of putting it. He wouldn't get far turning up at a nightclub door, refusing to pay and trying to head in anyway.

What if the big guy was a diabetic who just wanted to get the train moving again so he could get home for the medication he forgot to take with him? He's helped a train load of people get to their families, get to work, get connecting trains/buses, not miss their lift home, get back to feed their kids etc etc.
