Can you help?

Hi Guys

Been reading lots and LOTS on here about joining the cerbera action and its all extremely helpful.

I was going to ask 2 things -

1 - would anyone be willing to come and veiw a car with me as although I've had quite a few cars, I'm learning that buying a cerb is seeming something of an artform as well? Would obviously be paid etc

2 - does anyone know anything about this car - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2967294.htm ?

Seems in the price range and something that would match the colour etc

Hi, can't help with question 1. I know enough to keep me on the road, no expert. But it is a learning process. as for q.2. That cerb has been for sale for a long time and at a higher price. Reducing prices is not a good sign. The goodens normally sell quickly.

i dont no this tvr i think but no all most every thing about them i work at offord tvr and have done for 14 years i can check the car over for nothing if you can get it over to us hope we can help

It has been for sale for quite a while.I was going to go & look at it when I bought mine in June.Didn't bother as they couldn't be bothered to reply to my email or voice message.

Hi Phil

Don' want to ruin the Spirit of Christmas
BUT
When I looked for mine, i had decided that a '98 would suit my desires/wallet.
After trying a few I found that each had some, small thing which put me off.
I decided to up my budget (By almost 30% in the end) and bought an '01.
I have never spent my money so well.
You may be lucky but be very aware when you pay circa £10K for a Cerb tha you will probably be paying that again to make it a reliable road car.

I looked at this car about nine months ago The guy runs a dealership in the new forest but has a store of some very nice/exotic motors. This cerbera was there I dont think the owner is desperate to sell as it sits well with the other cars in the collection
It is a tidy example well looked after
However i am far from being an expert
I would of had it but the misses didn,t like the colour

This car has been up for sale for about 18 months,cant see why it aint sold,but the price has dropped a few grand i think since i first saw it

If anyone knows of any known cars in that sort of price range (ish) then please let me know. I'm not too picky on colour etc but would rather something that won't cost me the earth to run!

Mine might be slightly more than 10k but I know for a fact it wont need any more money spent on it (spent all of it). Im sure we could come to an arrangement... But you already called me about it, so I guess I'll wait for a call back!

It depends how much money you have got, how much you do yourself, your ability to ignore niggles, your appetite for perfection and how lucky you are.....

I have had cerbs for a few years (about 10 years since my first one) and have rarely spent less than £6K in a year I would guess!
