Anyone know a good knee specialist near Ascot?
Discussion
Hi all.
Does anyone happen to know of a decent knee specialist near the Ascot area? Recently one of my traditionally slightly clicky knees has developed a horrible crunch and I'm a bit worried something isn't quite right in there. I'd rather investigate before I potentially do more damage to it skiing!
I have been recommended by a friend of a friend that Graham Rider in Sunningdale is good but was wondering if anyone here had any experiences of either him or anyone in the area.
Thanks in advance.

Having had four knee operations in the past two years, I have had a reasonable amount of experience. Robin Allum in Winsdor is one of the country's top knee specialists. He is a surgeon/consultant.
Another practice in Windsor is to be avoided.
Mr Minter and his "magic fingers" is a great physio, but does not specialise in knees as far as I am aware.
Good luck, they can be very problematic if not looked after

I can recommend Adrian Wilson.

As for a physio Mr Wilson defers a lot of his work to Jon Gittings at Reactivate Physiotherapy.

They both did a sterling job on my knee.
Having skied on a knee which I didn't trust 100% and caused significant damage I would want to get it looked at and MRI'ed just in case.
