...would you buy the missus?
Would you get her what she wanted or would you just have a pool of cars and let her drive what ever she choose as a "run around" i.e. super car to NCP for christmas shopping?
Mine would love a Ferrari F430 although I would be fearful for her driving & parking one, she would probably end up with a few cars that I could borrow if I felt the need, her collection would probably consist of the following:

Mine has a soft spot for convertible maseratis. I can think of worse things - she does have a penchant for convertible beetles too 
Top of my list would be an Alfa SZ. Followed by an ever changing list of desirables for all occasions - track car, classic car, convertible, nice car for carting dogs around, something big cool and classy (maserati quattroporte, big Jag XFR, XJR sort of thing).

SWMBO would get an Abarth 500. Would be cool for me to run around in to.
Next to that, we'd get a family car in the shape of a Maserati Quatroporte, also to be used by me as a daily. I'd want a Lamborghini Aventador for the high speed fun stuff. And then something to mess about with for tuning and track day driving, probably something Japanese and turbocharged. Awfully tempted by a Subaru WRX STi.
And then there'd be the bikes. My current Triumph Daytona 675 would be promoted to track driving. My GF would get a Ducati Monster 1100 and I'd get myself a 1199 Panigale Tricolore

Mine would be more worried about the colour, toys & how expensive others will think it is
aside from yours truly, SWMBO has impeccable taste (I got lucky). Her three favourite cars are the Ferrari 250 LM, Ferari 246 Dino GT and AC Cobras of the 427 cu in persuasion. She would compliment that lot with a new Fiat 500 though I would fully expect to her to go shopping in the Dino.....
