As title really. Not heard much since their announcement. How are they progressing with their LMP1 project? Also on a side note, how about Aston Martin?

Aston have abandoned prototypes, George Howard-Chapple has left. They're saying they'll still be around in GT but I don't think they've said if it will be as AMR or as customer supported teams

Wurz tweeted the other day that he was in a top secret location with a very nice looking car but couldnt say more than that. IMHO it will be fairly well progressed.

Aston are running in GTE next year.

I dont suppose there is any recent R18 times are Ricard to compare to? Mostly irrelevent though if Audi are using the new Hybrid. Cant wait to see the Toyota!

Apparently the car will be doing its first laps at Paul Ricard today, with long runs planned for tomorrow smile

Haha GD that was my first thought! I dont know how easy Paul Ricard is to get in for spy shots, Audi and Peugeot seem to have plenty of behind closed doors test without anyone getting photos. Is the official reveal on the 24th?

Yeah next week they have been driving several tests now... but remember that Toyota used to have their own private garages there at Ricard when they started up the F1 campaign
