Good value pallet shipping

Looking at buying 5 4x4 tyres off someone on here and he has offered to pallet them up for me. So has anyone got any ideas of average cost from Lancashire to Milton Keynes and which companys are the best to use?

I got a good price from a specialist freight company based in Paisley when I tried to ship a set of wheels. They were cheaper than the other options and had straightforward requirements for packing etc. But it didn't exactly go to plan.

When the wheels and tyres went missing from their partner company's warehouse they were quite unapologetic about the fact one of the employees appeared to have nicked them and it took me several months to get a refund. It didn't encourage me to use them again.

It might be worth trying pallex or similar.

They will have a network of partners who will be local to both places - there is a quick quote button on the site. Alternatively you can get a local to collect but this normally works out more expensive.
