On c 4 there's a program about gypsies / travellers and a lot of them are driving some expensive cars. How do they get insured if they live in a caravan and no fixed address?

Most of them do actually have addresses, even if its just something like Plot 1 at a caravan park.

Just like that - only one of those quotes was actually from GarryA, but which one?

Edit: Now all 3 have gone. That just makes me look stupid...

Im sure there will be lots like you mention that don't bother but the ones I know have permanent addresses, I've seen it on logbooks when we have sold or bought cars with them.

Yes of course- the cars will be registered to something like "plot 13". Only there are only 12 plots on the site (the 13th has never been occupied, etc etc)

Didn't we have this before? They register them to the address of someone they know who lives in a house. Not all of them travel. You can't get away with no insurance in these days of ANPR.
