Ok, finally managed to pick her up on Friday, looks and sounds great and have managed to put 800 miles on her so far..(which is good as the first service is booked for thurs morning!!) No major niggles; speedo stopped working 5 miles down the road, but the sensor on the rear axle was replaced and has been fine ever since.. major wind noise from the windows, and some paint defects/visible panel joins from the fiberglass, but hopefully they can be taken care of..?? Sadly I managed to kerb a wheel already too, but I guess I should just be more carefull in future..
Anyway, cant wait until I get her back after the service so I can start exploring some more of those revs!

ooops, forgot to ask... on B roads, the car becomes VERY unsettled ans skittish, especially if you hit a bump... is this a normal trait of the car or is something wrong...? On A roads and motorways is seems fine (apard from a very firm ride!) although the steering does seem extremely light and sensitive..?!
Ok, thanks for your input though! I have been going less than 60 so far because anything much faster and the car becomes very difficult to handle - it did scare me at one point when it hit a bump on a corner and jumped on to the other side of the road!! I admit the road quality was a lot to be desired, but I did think the car would be a little more composed...?!!
Anyway, I wont take anymore of your time tonight
hopefully some other members can shed some light tomorrow!

Hello Simon
Well, for a start I took the week off - I'm taking the car over to norway for the summer and so needed to sort everything out before I went! And the miles....
garage to home and back (twice)- 300 miles
Trip to Armourfend HQ and back - 200 miles
Trip to see family in Norfolk and back - 200 miles
Pootling around norfolk, seing frends etc - 100 miles
I do have to say its pretty tiring though - I wouldnt recomend doing all those miles in four days, although you do get a good feel for the car!

Have head mine for 1600 miles worth now.
Have given it a good hammering on B roads, and have not found it overly skittish. What I have found is that due to the extremely direct steering I get a little nervous of even the smallest steering inputs above 60/70 on B roads.
You have to be super smooth...
Still its Awesome over distance on A & B roads, staying with many equal/superior(?) cars, even though I'm only using upto 5k rpm. Brakes really make up for getting outpaced on the straights!

Does anyone else have any thoughts on the skittishness and lack of composure BTW?!
Sounds like your geo is out. Get them to do it as it should be sorted on delivery. If not its a 100 quid+ job to get done properly. You want the full geo checked, not just tracking which is what the 30 quid efforts get you. I'd ask the dealer for a printed report at the end of it too. The good machines will give you a before and after report with all the setting before and after. Its amazing how many places can't do this job properly though, and I don't know who's good on the TVR front I'm afraid.
Also check tyre pressures.

Also depends on what your last car was. I beleieve we tend to compare cars, and certainly, compared with for example, a Chim, the T350 will feel skittish and hard. By all means go down the route of the geometry and alignment checks, but supsect the car will still feel the same.
After a while, you will become acustomed to the handlingv traits of the car, and the next time you drive the road in a softer car, you'll probably think it feels loose and unconnected!
hope you continue to enjoy
