A140 Petrol cap issue

Afternoon all,

The wife has a little A140, 2003 vintage and the petrol cap won't stay on. In fact it barely goes on at all.

It's as if the pins aren't moving when turned around.

Anyone had an idea? Happy to buy a new cap if it will fix it.

there normally is a white piece of plastic that becomes off set causing them not to go on genrally you can just turn it back and it will be fine
