I want to get an old-school petrol pump for my garage - purely for looks but may convert it to include a small fridge or use it as a tool chest etc.

I've found a couple of examples on ebay and two sites in the UK. One is extortionate in terms of price, the other hasn't been updated for soem time and has little in the way of information on it.

As such, does anyone know for any alternative sources for such 'automobilia'?

Very expensive because they are collectable I'm afraid. More modern ones have to be safely disposed of, as we discovered at work recently! Although modern ones are hideous looking anyway.

There are replica ones that will give the looks for a lot less money, if you can find them.

Autojumbles are a good bet, try Beaulieu.

I had grand plans to buy one and then adapt it to have the hose for my pressure washer come out of it...then I saw the price of them!
