GTA 3 on iOS devices

Just a heads up – GTA 3 was released this morning for Android and iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 4, iPad 1 and iPad 2 users. It's the 10th anniversary of the game… I now feel pretty old! It's 442mb on iOS devices, I'm just getting rid of some music so I can fit it on…

No worries! I felt a bit sad getting excited about a mobile game, but having played it for 10 minutes I'm very impressed! It looks great, runs more smoothly than my PC managed back in the day (I'm playing on my iPhone 4S) and – most astonishingly, it's really easy to control!

I just killed some innocent bystanders. They looked like they deserved it.

I've just had 10 minutes on it too, Looks and runs amazing as you say.

Although how do you move/walk when not in a car? I went to put my car in the garage, Went to run into the save building and couldn't figure out how to move

Press anywhere on the left-hand side and a little joystick will appear .

It's well worth £3, isn't it!. The graphics and gameplay are superb.

I love it. Spent a good while on it this evening - brilliant. I still think of this as a 'new' game, so it's amazing to see it in my hands!

Was about to ask how does it run on a 3gs... but this seems fairly conclusive

I love this game, the battery life on my 4s is taking a complete raping from it now.

Had so much fun playing this on the ps2, it's every bit as fun as I remember. Cars are an arse to control though.

I thought that, I then put in the latest GTA on the PS3 and their equally as bad

Quite I find the magic oversteer button helps take corners but the space on 4s to hit the steer power and handbrake at the same time is kinda limited.

I saw this on the android market on the day it was released. Today I've decided to get it, but I can't find it on the market, and when i tried to install it I was told I was incompatibleeven though I have an Acer Iconia which is a device it can run on.

Any ideas?
