I was watching the politics show yesterday on iPlayer and in the show it was mentioning about the treaty and talked about which countries were in and out and those that had not decided.

Each on had a bit of back ground on why they had made their decision and were making waves, etc.

However why is it I can't find any single ounce of the stuff they were spouting out in any newspaper or website?

Take this for example:

Finland have also refused to sign the treaty as its unhappy that the EU will have a say in their budget and so they have joined the ranks of those not signing which is growing by the day.

Now where is this information?

Or is this just BBC Bullst and propaganda again?

I would guess that's one of the functions of an 'XYZ correspondent'. Those people will normally be on the ground at the event taking place, and working a list of folks who'll give them the inside line depending on who wants to get what out to the Press, and what slant they want put on it. As the correspondent works for the BBC, they won't give their information 'gold nuggets' away - they'll use them on the BBC. Of course, without a verifiable source to attribute the quote to, it could all be made up bks. And being the BBC, it's probably the latter.

Just a guess.

Lets just say the OH is Finnish and after seeing that part of the politics show stormed off to find the information and its not mentioned anywhere and that was including talking to a few people back home in Finland.

So she was wondering as to whether anyone can fabricate stuff?

She doesn't care if it is true in the end, but how the BBC can announce something that has not been announced to the Finnish country yet???
