If any of you ever do online shopping and aren't using Quidco then make sure you sign up!

Normally get about 5% cashback on everything you buy and £50-200 for a phone contract or insurance - well worth checking out!

Is that an affiliate link you've posted there?

I think it obviously is an affiliate for him, and there will be some reward. I don't think it will do any harm to use if you are thinking of signing up though!

Quidco is good for National Trust membership and most annual things that you sign up for. I've also added my card nos. to it, so that if cashback is given in-store I get that as well, without even trying! smile They've got an iPhone App and an Android App as well, you can get special offers if in a store or sometimes 10-25p for "checking in" whilst in a store.

I generally don't make a point of using it, just to use it, and have had around 150 quid cashback per annum.

Use this myself.... Mobile phone contracts, energy suppliers, insurance are where the big bucks are. I've earned about 2-300 quid in the last year.

No indication as to how long it will take for a cashback to be confirmed.

No indication as to whether or not you will even get the cashback.

Not impressed so far.

Try reading first before slagging it off - it clearly tells you on each page how long it takes to track and how long payment then takes (usually around 3 months).

I guess if you don't want free money then don't use it.

No comeback if cashback is refused either.

So you sit around for 3 months hoping the dealer you bought the item from doesn't go bust before you possibly maybe perhaps get the cashback.

Can't see that there is any legal obligation for them to pay either.

Having said all that I did actually sign up to buy an item as the deal was very good.

But 1 day offer I went for isn't traceable anywhere as far as I can see, unless anyone took a screendump of their browser with it displayed.

I'm not expecting to get the cashback, but I would have bought it anyway as it was already significantly reduced.

Never count it as yours until you've got it. I see it as a bonus when/if it comes.

I've saved around £150 since I started using it.

Are you just trolling for the sake of it?

Why don't you complain in 3 months if it doesn't come through.

I've had every single cash back confirmed and received about £800 in the last year. It's a fantastic company and a great idea.

I don't think I am going to bother in the future.

I tried it but also had trouble getting cashback, never did in most cases. I gave up in the end. Then it is quite difficult to 'un-subscribe'. Even after I did cancel it, I still got lots of Emails with various offers I do not want. Maybe I was just unlucky though..

I've been using it for years, and only had my first cashback 'declined' recently. Though it didn't mention why, and the query I raised hasn't been touched in 2 months.

Also cashback payment speed seems to be getting slower over the years.

Store check-in works well and is instaneous! smile

Quite lot of it has slowed down, but they do indicate how long you should have to wait to expect things to be Paid and in the intervening period it does Track and so on..

Had £110 cash back last week from my iPhone 4S purchase in October. Website clearly stated that it would take 3 mobile a couple of months to pay up so no complaints from me.

That said it was hidden away in the small print that you had to use 3 mobiles search function to find the phone. If you'd just clicked the big 'new shiny phone banner' on their home page you wouldn't qualify for the cashback.

I use it.

It's worth looking at the free offers that pay you money as well. Some are just sign up services which you get cashback for when you confirm the account. Money gets paid in to Quidco account and I then just terminate the service so no annoying emails. I even got £8 from www.matchaffinity.com (dating website) for signing up, confirming the account then immediately cancelling it!

The £5 comes out of your cashback amount so no need to pay anything to them.

I think Quidco is really good. I've had ~£250 from it.

It's very good when booking hotels and car hire, as they usually give 10% cashback!
