Hi,

I have a mate who bought himself an E92 M3 a couple of months ago and I was wondering if there are any good M books around the £20-30 mark that I could get him for Christmas. Does anyone have anything they would recommend please?

Thanks

Not sure about books with E92 content but this book runs up to the E46CS. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Portfolio-1986-2006-Brooklands-Books/dp/1855207508

It's magazine reviews on various on M3s from E30's to E46's and fairly interesting, but to be fair I only bought it because the car on the cover is the same as mine!

Jeremy Walton has published a couple of great books....but most of the publications are related to older cars, ie M1, E28, E30, E34, E39, E36, E46 etc, ie all pre 2005.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've done some Googling and Amazon hunting but it appears that the majority of books are related to older M Cars. He'll just have to have socks again.

It usually takes a while for the newer models to make it into an ///M anthology.

The two 'coffee table' books I've got were over £50 each for limited edition versions. One is 'The Complete Book of BMW' by Tony Lewin, and the other is 'BMW M Power - 30th Anniversary Edition 1972-2002'.

This purports to cover the later cars.

I saw that book on Amazon and it looked perfect but they can't deliver in time for Christmas. I looked on the Waterstones website for it and it said it had a published due date of summer 2013!!!!

Thanks again for the suggestions but socks it is! hehe
