To clutch or not to clutch, that is the question

Engine's already out so no extra labour costs, there's about 5k miles left on the clutch apparently, so going to need changing probably in the next 12 months. Only down side is it will increase the bill even more... but then is that better than paying the extra labour costs too in 12 months...

The old chestnut of pay up front or pay more by spreading the cost...

Do it now sir,yes i tend to try and spread the cost but on stuff like this i would always do the clutch.you will kick yourself in 12 months time when its back in the garage being fixed again

I would just get on with replacing it and sell the old one on ebay to recoup some cash if you can be bothered.

Get it done no brainer really. And if you haven't already I can thoroughly recommend the Raceproved slave cylinder too.

Go for it - you'll only kick yourself when the clutch expires and you need to take the thing apart again....

... and while you are at it - get the uprated Raceproved clutch and RaceProved lightened flywheel - it helps the engine spin up faster

I was in the same dilemma but decided to go for it. Knowing my luck the old clutch would have given way on the drive home otherwise!
