Having read on the threads covering 997 Turbo prices about cars being sold at auction, I went on to the BCA site - and came upon a 2004 Cayenne Turbo with 241k. It's had 12 OPC services.

That's quite impressive - I'd love to see what it makes.

Anyone brave enough?

About 2 pence? On a serious note perhaps £5k. Heck of a lot of car for the money!

emmmm.....

When is an engine past its 'run in'.......300k,500k......1m ? At that price there are a lot of bills ahead I would have thought. I am stunned that Porsche still has this long term reliability reputation. I just don't see it anymore. Once maybe.

I reckon something i the region of 7-8k. It would be a brave person to do it but I always admire bravery especially when it comes to high milers!

I keep thinking maybe I should get a Cayenne Turbo....please talk me out of it!!!

As I was typing it I thought it's too much; I think maybe £6k is more realistic? Afterall you can get a 70k miler form a garage forecourt for around £15k.

It is a shame they do not post sale prices, their website is quite good so I should imagine that it would be quite easy to do.

Last time I was there, about two years ago, I took an Autotrader for reference and cars were selling for MORE at the auction than similar that was advertised in the Autotrader.
