Ugh, that interior!

Im talking about an evo, maybe 4 or 5 years old. I saw a lovely one the other day in silver. Low miles, FSH and even better, totally unmodified. Looking at it, i think it had never seen a burberry cap in all it's lifetime.

I love 4 door, fast saloons, but damn, why do they have to use the interior from a Marina inside them? I suppose they look a lot better on the newer ones, but theyre still a bit pricey at the moment. frown

They're fun to drive, and the interior doesn't bother you much when you're out there. But yes, it's not exactly the most inspiring of places to sit.

Agree they are a bit plain inside, given what the car is capable of.

I had an 8 MR and the interior was nice enough, similar to the one above.I think its the standard models that come with nasty blue chequered upholstery you are probably looking at which i have to agree are pretty awful.

I get the impression that the Evo was not made with Audi soft-touch leather fashionistas as it's target market wink

I'd prefer a more purposeful interior to something that looks like a games console.

Something like this:

Have you driven one?

My Dad had a 260, a lot more low rent than the later MRs.

I would forgive that interior for any car that drives like the Evo does.

To be fair though, whilst the plastics were cheap and it was a bit rattly, it was functional and the seats are fantastic.

Just today picked up my new to me '57 WRX today and been sitting in it getting used to everything this afternoon and it really is not a nice place, but still, who cares with a turbo whine and roundabout antics like that!

B5 Audi S4? They've got very nice interiors, 4x4 saloon, high performance etc etc
Apart from rear leg room being limited I can't really fault the interior on mine. No nasty plastic or rattles

If you're not 'impressed' but the interior of the evo I don't see why you would be impressed by the interior of a B5. They're mainly the same things, I.E acres of dull, grey plastic.

You've got to be kidding. Audi interiors are nice places to be and don't feel/look cheap like an Evos.
